Latitudes of Plenty is inspired by Woody Guthrie’s Pastures of Plenty, my favorite song by one of my favorite artists. It is meant to embody the same themes but on a more universal scale… The reality that life is so hard, so long, so brief, so transient, so fragile, so oppressive, so filled with labor and toil.
And yet, our lives are worth enduring, living, and cherishing; our necessary labor worth doing; what is true, noble, pure, and lovely worth fighting for; and so too this whole world, everyone and everything God has created.
